Eeyore is a 1986 Wagoneer Limited. As you can see this is an XJ (like Jeep     Cherokee) It has a GM 2.8L V-6, the biggest engine available that year but still not very impressive. I was looking for my first car, and I saw this one for about $800. Naturally I checked into the value of this, it looked like a good deal so I went to look at it. It was nearly exactly what I was looking for. It is much nicer than what I had  expected to get for the amount of money. I had been looking at rusted out pickups, and such. Being a limited it came fully loaded, cruise control, etc. It also has a 5 speed manual, and 4x4 Command Trac.

I have recently purchased a brand new 2.8 L short block.  I will attempt to convert this to MPI, or possibly TBI if that fails.  Click on the engine picture below to watch the progress of this experiment.
